Stephen Friedlos is Chief Information Officer for Genworth Financial’s International operations. He is focused on developing and driving the technology strategy for the International segment, implementing IT governance measures to encourage and facilitate convergence and collaboration amongst Genworth's International IT community.
Before joining Genworth, Stephen served as CIO for eSpeed International, part of the well-known brokerage and financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald. He has more than twenty years of Information Technology experience including technology strategy development and implementation, operational management of technology and in leading teams of varied sizes throughout the Financial Services sector. Stephen also has experience in managing the transition of fragmented infrastructure services to a centralised service and in providing technology support for business mergers and acquisitions. He has held key IT positions at a number of companies including GNI Limited/Old Mutual Financial Services, Hill Samuel Asset Management Group and BNP Capital Markets.
Stephen was educated at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School and at Cranfield University where he gained a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering. He is based in London, UK. |
