Stephen S. Eaves is the inventor of the ModEnergy massively parallel cell technology. Mr. Eaves has 15 years of experience in battery applications, power electronics and control system development. He is the former president and founder of Eaves Devices, an energy storage and power systems engineering company incorporated in the year 2000. Eaves Devices is responsible for the development of the battery management system for the Navy Advanced Seal Delivery Vehicle, the B2 Bomber Lithium-ion Battery Upgrade, the Navy Light Torpedo Development Vehicle, the XSS-11 satellite battery electronics and numerous other demanding energy storage applications. Mr. Eaves has authored or coauthored six published papers related to battery management and power electronics. He has seven patents issued or pending. Mr. Eaves holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. |
