Stephen Burdumy is a partner in the Corporate and Securities and Investment Management Practice Groups and a managing partner of the firm. Stephen brings a wealth of experience to the firm with 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, focusing on securities work and public and private company mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, he was partner at Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg & Ellers LLP where he was instrumental in the growth and expansion of their corporate and securities department.
Stephen has had extensive, direct experience with various corporate, securities, merger, acquisition, divestiture and financing transactions. His work includes representing private equity funds in their formation, structuring and negotiating over 100 investment transactions in public companies, representation of issuers and regional underwriters in public and private offerings, representation of venture capital funds in investments, and representation of both acquirers and targets in private and public merger and acquisition transactions. He has also counseled boards of directors in hostile takeovers, financings, mergers and acquisitions, litigation strategies and other significant corporate matters.
In General. Stephen received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School in 1982. His undergraduate degree, cum laude, is from Georgetown University, where he majored in international economics and international finance and commerce. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations. |
