Steve has responsibility for all financial reporting, tax and treasury activities, compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Audit. The global finance function will be more involved with overseeing the financial performance of the operating companies and for ensuring that the competence and capability of the function meets the current and future needs of the Group.
In addition, Steve is responsible for Investor Relations and Group Corporate Communications and will play an increasing role in leading our external relationships with the banking community, analysts and shareholders. Steve reports directly to Chip Hornsby and will continue to work closely with him to develop both the Group’s strategic and operational objectives. Steve is also a member of the Group’s Capital and Acquisitions Committees that approve all of the Group’s major expenditures in these areas. |
