Stephen P. McGill is chief executive officer of Aon Risk Services Americas and the Global Large Corporate (GLC) business unit. McGill joined Aon in May 2005 to head the GLC which serves the sophisticated needs of the world’s largest organizations and he was appointed CEO ARS Americas in January 2006.
Previously McGill served as chief executive officer of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group Plc. (JLTG) the world’s sixth largest broker. He joined Lloyd Thompson in 1989 to develop its international non-marine business and joined the board of the Lloyd Thompson Group in 1996 just prior to Lloyd Thompson’s merger with Jardine Insurance Brokers to form JLTG.
McGill started his career in insurance brokerage in 1977 at Bland Payne International. He currently serves as president of the Insurance Institute of London and is a director of the International Insurance Society Inc. |
