Mr Lazare's practice focuses on insurance coverage and commercial litigation. Throughout his career, he has assisted major carriers and other financial institutions in all aspects of civil litigation at the trial and appellate level. He also works closely with insurance companies in monitoring major securities and other commercial disputes internationally. Mr. Lazare is a frequent author and lecturer on important issues and trends relative to commercial lines insurance and litigation issues. He is Vice Chairperson of the New York State Bar Association's Insurance Coverage Committee and a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Defense Research Institute, the Professional Liability Underwriters Society, the Insurance Federation of New York and the Editorial Advisory Board for Strafford Publications' Insurance Law & Litigation periodical.
