Steve Jones joined LCA-Vision/LasikPlus in May 2007 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Jones oversees and directs human resources recruiting and training. He has spent 25 of his 33-year career in human resources managerial positions. Prior to joining LCAVision/ LasikPlus he served five years as Vice President of Talent Management at the Kroger Company where he was charged with corporate responsibility for compensation organizational design recruiting succession planning performance management career development and training. Prior to joining Kroger he spent eight years as Principal and Practice Leader with the Performance and Rewards Practice of Mercer Consulting the largest human resources consulting organization in the United States. Earlier in his career he served eight years as Vice President of Human Resources at SMS one of the world’s largest developers of health care software for management patient and financial information. Prior to his position with SMS he held various positions at Thomas Jefferson University and Medical Center in Philadelphia and was a Research Analyst at the Alfred I. DuPont Institute in Wilmington Delaware. Mr. Jones earned a B.A. in Biology from Brown University and an M.B.A. in Health Administration from Widener University. Mr. Jones is also a member of the board of directors of Middletown Regional Hospital located in Middletown Ohio. |
