Stephen M. Houghton is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Since joining the firm in 1980, he has devoted 100% of his time to Civil Litigation with wide experience in Medical Malpractice, Toxic Tort, Transportation, and Commercial Litigation. Mr. Houghton is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan. He is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel and a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. Mr. Houghton graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975, Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1978. He served as law clerk to Hon. William W. Knox, U.S. District Judge, Western District of Pennsylvania, 1978:1980. Mr. Houghton is a national lecturer in Continuing Legal Education Programs. He is Vice President of the Pittsburgh Association of Phi Beta Kappa and member of the Equal Justice Campaign, Neighborhood Legal Services Association. |
