Stephen L. Gibbs was elected to the position of Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer effective April 1, 2006. In this position he is principally responsible for ensuring that SEC reporting requirements are met and a strong control environment is in place.
Mr. Gibbs joined Scientific Games Racing, LLC, a subsidiary of the Company, in April 2005, as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Gibbs served as Manager of Accounting Research for The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to Coca-Cola, Mr. Gibbs served nine years in public accounting with the firms of Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche, most recently as Senior Manager in the Atlanta office of Deloitte & Touche.
Mr. Gibbs is a member of the Board of Directors of The Adaptive Learning Center for Infants and Children, Inc.
Mr. Gibbs is a graduate of Florida A&M University and a Certified Public Accountant.
