Gartside became Chairman in April 2007 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2004. Gartside joined the company in 2001 as Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Business Development. He moved into the role of Executive Vice President Sales and Operations in 2002 and President and Chief Executive Officer in 2004.
Prior to joining the company, Gartside was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Terabeam Corporation, a Seattle-based technology company that deploys networks. Gartside was the Regional Director in the Communications Division of Stratus Computers, where he oversaw sales of platform, OSS, and Network Element solutions to carriers in the Western United States.
Gartside spent eleven years with NCR and AT&T Global Information Solutions, including four years as Area Vice President, where he sold communications solutions. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas and has pursued M.B.A. studies at the University of St. Thomas. |
