Stephen J. Norris was named to his present position in November 1994. He had previously followed an extensive career in the pulp and paper industry, first with Canadian International Paper Company (1966 to 1974), and then with Domtar Inc. (1974 to 1992), becoming Director of Corporate Business Development responsible for mergers and acquisitions. In 1993, Mr. Norris joined Patriot Paper Company (a Tembec subsidiary) in Boston as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Norris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sir George Williams University and an MBA from Concordia University. He is a member of the Treasury Management Association of Canada, the Association for Financial Professionals and the Institute of Internal Auditors. |
