Lief is Director of Litigation Support at Milberg Weiss, having joined the firm in this capacity in April, 2006.For more than 25 years, Steve has advised fellow attorneys on the latest in practical and profitable technology applications, including automated litigation support, document assembly and imaging, electronic trial presentation and voice recognition systems. Founder and first president of the National Association of Litigation Support Managers [NALSM], his experience as both a practicing attorney and a scientific programmer provides a unique perspective on legal technology.Steve has served in a wide variety of legal/technology editorial and speaking capacities and most recently was the founder and consulting editor for AmLawTech magazine, a publication of American Lawyer Media.In addition, he has served as editor-in-chief of the Legal Tech Newsletter and was the founding editor-in-chief of Law Technology Product News. He has been an advisor to the American Business Journal's legal industry Management and Technology television series and has pioneered the small firm and solo practice and education tracks for American Lawyer Media's national Legal Tech Conferences.
