Mr. Willis is one of the leading intellectual property experts in the world. His expertise encompasses valuation and pricing, the management of intellectual property rights and expert testimony. The scope of his intellectual property consulting assistance to clients includes: i. the economic aspects of license negotiations such as determining or evaluating the price, ii. facilitating technology transfer, iii. establishing the fair market value of technology that has been misappropriated or illegally used, together with assisting in license negotiations and litigation settlements, iv. advising start-up or developmental stage businesses (e.g. incubators), and v. furthering venture capital opportunities. He received his BS in finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business with concentrations in accounting and finance. He is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner. |
