Mr. Jett, a partner in the Cleveland office, is a 1990 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served as an editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. Mr. Jett graduated from law school with High Distinction (designating top 5%) and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Jett received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. Prior to beginning law school, Mr. Jett attended flight training in the United States Air Force, after which he flew tactical fighter/reconnaissance aircraft operationally in the Kentucky Air National Guard as a Weapon Systems Officer. Mr. Jett’s practice involves representation of a wide variety of clients, primarily businesses, including among others, real estate management companies, construction companies, health care providers, computer hardware companies, manufacturing companies, financial institutions and property owners. The emphasis of his practice has been commercial litigation, with extensive experience in intellectual property, bankruptcy, employment law, commercial contracts, business torts, real estate tax, landlord/tenants, and creditor’s rights. He has extensive experience in litigation, mediation, negotiation, and arbitration (conducted under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce and the American Arbitration Association, among others). As part of an overseas assignment, he also worked extensively in international venues in connection with various commercial and corporate matters. He was awarded an AV Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis/Martindale-Hubbell. |
