Dr. Carter has served as our Chief Scientific Officer and a member of our Board of Directors since June 2003. From September 1999 to the present, Dr. Carter has also served as Chief Scientific Officer of BioChemics. From April 1998 to September 1999, Dr. Carter was a self-employed consultant in the pharmaceuticals industry. From January 1996 to April 1999, Dr. Carter held the appointment as the Administrative Dean for Research at Harvard Medical School. Other previous positions held by Dr. Carter include various executive positions with Glaxo/Glaxo Wellcome, lead research scientist at the National Cancer Institute Frederick Cancer Research Facility, and research faculty member and NIH postdoctoral fellow at Yale University.
