Department of Surgery Chair, Stephen G. ReMine, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a surgical residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. While at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. ReMine completed a research fellowship in immunology and cancer research. He later served as a surgeon at Lahey Clinic, surgeon and Chief at the University of Connecticut Medical School, and V.P. of Surgical Services, Western Region at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. ReMine specializes in complex cancer surgeries, has published more than 200 articles and abstracts on related topics and has completed dozens of clinical research studies. He is Medical Director and founding member of Orphan Medical Network International which brings quality healthcare to children through orphanages, schools and medical centers in Zambia, Africa. |
