G. Stephen Finley joined Newpark’s Board of Directors in June 2007. Mr. Finley served as the Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, and Chief Financial Officer of Baker Hughes Incorporated from April 1999 to his retirement from that company in April 2006. Prior to that, from February 1982 to April 1999, Mr. Finley held various financial and administrative management positions with Baker Hughes. Since June 2006, Mr. Finley has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Ocean Rig ASA, a Norway-based drilling contractor that is listed on the Oslo, Norway stock exchange. He currently serves on that Board’s Nominations and Governance Committee and as Chairman of its Audit Committee. Since November 2006, Mr. Finley has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee and Chairman of the Compensation Committee of UCO GP, LLC, which is the general partner of Universal Compression Partners, L.P., a leading provider of natural gas compression services and products. |
