Stephen Guzzi joined Kenyon and Kenyon as a Patent Agent and Legal Intern in 2006, and is based in the New York Office. Mr. Guzzi's practice focuses on patent prosecution in the electrical, mechanical and computer science arts.
Mr. Guzzi received his B.S. degree from Cornell University, with a double major in electrical and mechanical engineering. While at Cornell, he participated in engineering co-op assignments with Emerson Power Transmission, as well as an internship with Ford Motor Company. Mr. Guzzi received his M.S. degree from Columbia University in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on integrated circuit (IC) design.
Prior to entering the patent law field, Mr. Guzzi designed and developed electronic products for several years. He worked as an IC designer for Maxim Integrated Products, headquarted in Sunnyvale, CA. During his time at Maxim, he designed several families of operational amplifier (op-amp) ICs. Mr. Guzzi also developed automotive electronic ignition systems for Standard Motor Products.
Mr. Guzzi also has experience in software development, including the development of web applications for companies such as ICTV and OpenTV.
Prior to joining Kenyon and Kenyon, Mr. Guzzi worked as a Technology Specialist and Patent Agent for four years at law firms in California and New Jersey, focusing on patent prosecution in the electrical and mechanical arts. |
