Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, and is a Registered Professional Enigneer in over 12 states nationwide. Steve's responsibilities include the management of all electrical design and construction-related services. His 38 years of experience encompass all facets of electrical power distribution and lighting systems design including forensic engineering. He is knowledgeable in the design of 15 kV, 5 kV, and 480 Volt systems, as well as fire alarm and security systems. He has spent the majority of his career in the electrical engineering consulting field. During this time he participated in the design of a wide array of healthcare and higher educational facilities, municipal/fire stations, commercial buildings, industrial, utility, and institutional type projects. These include hospitals, laboratories, college campus underground power distribution systems, schools, large retail grocery stores, restaurant, cold storage facilities, health clubs and roadway lighting. Steve's areas of expertise include: Electrical system analysis (120 V - 15,000 V), component failure analysis, electrical system installation defects, hot tub fire analysis, scene examinations and electrical fire cause and origin.
