Stephen Zweig is head of the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. In this capacity, he negotiates executive employment, change in control and separation agreements for companies as well as senior-level executives, litigates breach of contract and non-compete cases, and advises on the design and development of executive compensation plans, including incentive, non-qualified, equity and quasi-equity plans. Stephen is a chapter author of the 2002 BNA treatise Executive Compensation.
Stephen also represents major companies in employment law, labor relations, and wage and hour matters, where his clients include banks, financial services, insurance, law, construction, shipping and stevedoring, security, staffing, electronics, computer, food service, retail stores, and health care companies. He also represents Taft-Hartley multi-employer pension and welfare funds.
Stephen is a member of the American (Litigation and Labor and Employment Sections) and New York (Labor and Employment Law and Employee Benefits Section) Bar Associations. He also serves as counsel to the Executives' Association of Greater New York, Inc., and is a frequent lecturer on issues before employer associations, industry groups, and corporations.
