Mr. Traverse is a shareholder in the Firm’s Phoenix office. He has been engaged in practice for more than 25 years with a primary emphasis on a broad spectrum of commercial real estate, financial and other business services, including sales and acquisitions, leases, sale and leasebacks, real property secured loan documentation, mezzanine loans, personal property secured transactions, contracts for the sale of goods and services, construction agreements, and entity formations.
He is admitted to practice in Arizona and California, and is board-certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a specialist in real estate law. Since moving from California to Arizona in 1999, Mr. Traverse has closed more than $1 billion in real property secured loans.
Mr. Traverse represents businesses (large and small, public and private), investors, developers and commercial borrowers, as well as banks and other institutional lenders, throughout the United States.
Mr. Traverse is co-author of the leading textbook on real estate financing published by the California Education of the Bar and has presented numerous real estate and real estate financing seminars for lawyers, institutional lenders and other professionals. He is routinely engaged by large institutional lenders to review commercial real property secured loan documentation for enforceability under Arizona law.
