Stephen Popovich an innovator in the data communications field has more than 20 years experience in technology sales operations and marketing. Prior to Digi Popovich 46 co-founded Inside Out Networks in Austin Texas in 1997 and introduced Inside Out Networks’ high-quality enterprise Universal Serial Bus (USB) products only 10 months after the company’s inception. He successfully sold the company to Digi International in October 2000 and is currently responsible for overall management strategy new product development and marketing for Digi’s USB product line.
Prior to founding Inside Out Networks Popovich served as regional sales manager for Digi International. In this position he was responsible for selling Digi’s products within the POS markets. In addition Popovich served as co-founder and president of LAN Access Corporation a provider of remote access solutions. LAN Access Corporation was also sold to Digi in 1995.
Before founding LAN Access Corporation Popovich served as general manager and business unit manager for Andrew Corporation and was vice president of operations for Local Data Inc. In these positions he was responsible for profit and loss of enterprise connectivity products sold to Fortune 50 companies worldwide.
Popovich attended El Camino College in Torrance California and California State University.
