Former Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Stephen Myers 63 joined Myers Industries in 1967 and worked in the production department of one of the manufacturing companies. In 1971 he was named president of Akro-Mils. He was also elected to the board of directors in 1971
named vice president in 1973 executive vice president in 1977 and president and chief operating officer in 1980. He became president and chief executive officer in 1984. In 2003 he was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Myers is a graduate of Harvard College. He is the son of one of the founders of Myers Industries Louis S. Myers.
