Mr. Tuttle joined the team in February 1994 as the Director of Government Affairs. Mr. Tuttle's current responsibilities include company spokesman, public affairs, crisis management, law enforcement and government relations as well as lobbying. Mr. Tuttle was also heavily involved with the recent legalization of TASER technology in Massachusetts, airline security research involving TASER technology, law enforcement quality control, and is a court recognized expert in TASER technology. Mr. Tuttle attended the University of Arizona studying Political Science and Economics and the International Comparative Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University. Mr. Tuttle is a Board of Director for the 100 Club,. non-profit group that provides immediate financial assistance to the surviving families of public safety officers and firefighters killed or seriously injured in the line of duty. Prior to joining TASER International, Inc. in 1994, Mr. Tuttle was a Senior Management Analyst with the Bradson Corporation, a DOD contractor in Arlington VA, where he was responsible for Foreign Military Sales for the U.S. Navy to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Spanish Navy. He also worked for three years on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Slade Gorton responsible for legislative activities and correspondence with the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee. Mr. Tuttle also worked for two years in the Research & Policy Analysis department for the National Cable Television Association and interned for the National Federation of Independent Business in Washington, DC. |
