Mr. Steve Sorensen is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Select Staffing. During the time he was President until early 2007, Mr. Sorensen was the driving force behind the rapid growth and continued success of Select Staffing. Mr. Sorensen’s tenacity and vision for the Company has brought the Company’s annual sales revenues up to over $1 billion and the number of offices from four branches to over 250.
Mr. Sorensen currently oversees the financial management, retail and operational aspects, and acquisitions of the Company. Mr. Sorensen has built an elite, multi-faceted management team of staffing industry professionals to serve the Company as Corporate Managers, Branch Managers, Regional Managers, and Vice Presidents. Mr. Sorensen also continues to actively build the Company’s sales force of direct Sales Representatives and Sales Managers. The depth of the Company’s management is the foundation that will further enhance the company’s sales and growth.
Prior to joining Select Staffing in 1987, Mr. Sorensen acquired over 10 years of experience in the financial and banking industries working as a Tax Consultant for Arthur Andersen & Company, a Venture Capital Analyst for Golder Thoma Cressey Rauner, and a Junior Banker Loan Officer at the Mark Twain Bank.
Mr. Sorensen’s acute financial expertise has benefited the Company in the acquisition arena. The Company has successfully acquired over 50 of its competitors in the last decade. These staffing service acquisitions have complemented Select Staffing’s existing markets, as well as serving as a benchmark for the company to enter new staffing territories.
Mr. Sorensen’s educational background includes a B.S. degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Chicago. |
