Stephen Mitchell joined ADC in January 2003 as Vice President of National Accounts. He was named Vice President, North America Sales and Marketing in October 2003. In this role, Mr. Mitchell oversees sales and marketing initiatives for the Connectivity, Wireline, Wireless, IP Cable, and Systems Integration business units.
Previously, as Vice President of National Accounts, Mr. Mitchell had responsibility for driving ADC’s channel sales strategies, including channel development in North America. He also held responsibility for service provider accounts as well as ADC’s government, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and broadcast markets.
Prior to joining ADC Mr. Mitchell served Marconi Communications as Vice President of Sales for Major Service Providers where he directed and managed sales to North American cable, wireless, OEMs, and enterprise customers. In his 10-year career at Marconi, he also served in sales leadership roles including Vice President of Access Systems, Vice President of Strategic Accounts, and Vice President of Emerging Markets.
Mr. Mitchell began his career at Norwalk, Conn.-based Burndy Corporation in 1984.
