Stephen Held’s career with Southwest Water Company started in 1992 when he was appointed general manager of ECO Resources’ Houston region. He also served in several other key ECO positions, including general manager of Texas and vice president of sales, before being transferred to the ECO Austin office as general manager, Central Texas. In 1997, he was promoted to ECO Resources regional vice president, Central Region. In April 2006, he was appointed president of the Services Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s subsidiaries that perform work under contract with cities, municipal utility districts and other government entities.
With over 30 years of experience in management and business development, Mr.Held's career has included regional shopping center development, oilfield development, financial consulting and planning, and municipal management.
Mr. Held is a graduate of Alabama's Auburn University where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. He has completed additional coursework in management at both the University of Arizona and Michigan State University and in business law at Alabama’s Jones Law School. |
