Dr. Morgan joined the Board of Directors in August 2001. He enjoys a wealth of experience in education, community service, business administration and development in the very markets PFF serves.
Since 1985 Dr. Morgan has served as the president of the University of La Verne (ULV), a highly regarded local institution with more than 6,500 undergraduate and graduate students and a growing network of satellite campuses.
A native Californian, Dr. Morgan is a third generation graduate of ULV where he earned his bachelor’s degree in social science. He completed graduate studies at the University of Southern California (USC), receiving a master’s degree in educational administration. He later completed a doctoral degree in educational management from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Morgan has extensive background in public relations and development working early in his career at ULV and USC. He has also served as executive director of Independent Colleges of Northern California.
Active in community work, he is currently director for the LeRoy Haynes Center, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and the Independent Colleges of Southern California. He also serves on the executive committee of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities. Recently, Dr. Morgan was appointed chair of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Fair. |
