Steve Huttler is Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's Executive Vice Chair and a partner in the firm’s real estate group. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Team which is responsible for the management, direction and operation of the firm, as well as a member of the firm's Board. As Executive Vice Chair, he has principal responsibility for the firm’s finances and operations, and works closely with the Chair on all aspects of firm leadership and management. In addition to his firm management duties, Mr. Huttler continues his practice of advising clients on complex transactions, business planning, and crisis management. As an experienced business lawyer, he has counseled clients on a broad range of business transactions, with an emphasis on the planning and strategy matters involved in major transactions. He is considered a deal maker and problem solver, and has often been called upon to address and help resolve crisis situations. Prior to Shaw Pittman's merger with Pillsbury, Mr. Huttler was Shaw Pittman's Managing Partner, responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of the firm. He received his J.D., from Georgetown University Law Center in 1974, his B.A. from Syracuse University in 1971 and attended Ludwig-Maximilians-UniversitSt Mnnchen. Admissions include the District of Columbia and U.S. Supreme Court and he is affiliated with the Urban Land Institute and American Bar Association. |
