Steve Johnson, a director in LECG’s Palo Alto office, has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field. Mr. Johnson has served as both an environmental regulator and as a consultant to corporations, public agencies and non-governmental organizations.
During his tenure in the public sector, Mr. Johnson served as an assistant director of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, where he was responsible for all of Arizona’s waste-related programs. Prior to that, he worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region IX, as a hazardous waste enforcement chief, a Superfund remedial project manager, and an inspector and enforcement officer in the Clean Water Act programs.
Mr. Johnson lectures regularly at Stanford University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences, and he frequently conducts seminars on environmental issues.
Mr. Johnson received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, Tau Beta Pi, and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering and Science from Stanford University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer. |
