Stephanie Hurt, a native of Belle Union, Indiana, grew up on a farm in Putnam County. She is a Fillmore High School graduate.
After high school, Mrs. Hurt attended and was graduated from Indiana State University, where she obtained a degree in business education in 1972 with emphasis in Business Administration.
In January, 1972, Mrs. Hurt began her career at Central National Bank in Greencastle. In connection with her work in real estate loans, Mrs. Hurt was graduated from the National Banking School of Real Estate Finance, Ohio State University, in 1976.
She was later promoted to Central National Bank’s Trust Department, serving as Trust Officer. While working in that area, she completed the National Graduate Trust School (with distinction) in 1984 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Her thesis was titled (Fiduciary Liability, Head It Off At The Pass. In 1984 she also became a Certified Financial Services Counselor. In 1985 she graduated from the Dale Carnegie School in Effective Speaking and Human Relations. |
