Mr. Papadopoulos has been a director of the Company since November 1999. He retired in September 2001 from CN Biosciences, Inc, an affiliate of Merck KGaA, Dannstadt, Germany where he served as Assistant to the General Manager since July 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Papadopoulos was acting Chief Executive Officer and a director, from April to July 2000. He was Chief Executive Officer and President of CNBI from January 1993 to April 2000 and was Chairman of the Board of CNBI from October 1985 to April 2000. He previously served as President of Fisher Scientific Worldwide, Inc. (now Fisher Scientific International Inc.) from May 1989 to June 1992. From October 1987 to May 1989, he was President of Instrumentation Laboratory. Mr. Papadopoulos received his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Northrop Institute of Technology. |
