Stefano Pileri was born in Rome, Italy in 1955.
He was appointed General Manager, Technology on January 22, 2007.
Mr. Pileri began his career at SIP in 1982, where he was promoted through positions of increasing responsibility in the Network department, specializing in Management Systems.
In 1993 and 1994, he worked as Network Manager for the Emilia Romagna region. In 1996, he took over responsibility for Network Customer Planning and Development at Telecom Italia’s Network Division.
In 1997, he became Head of the Network Management Planning and Development Unit.
Mr. Pileri was appointed Telecom Italia S.p.A Network Manager in 1998. From 2000, he filled this position at the Wireline Business Unit.
In 2005, Mr. Pileri became the Telecom Italia Group’s Chief Technology Officer, reporting directly to the Chairman, with responsibility for orienting and coordinating fixed-line/mobile integration and Group network technological development. |
