Dr. Nunez completed her undergraduate studies in biological science at Stanford University and attended medical school at the University of California-San Diego. She completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas, and her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Washington. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Her clinical experience includes working as a primary-care physician in an underserved community and as an internal medicine hospitalist in Tacoma. She has worked with Southlake Clinic since 2001, and joined the group full-time in 2003 as a pulmonologist and critical care physician. When not at work, Dr. Nunez enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys reading a good book and walking. |
