Stefanie Galey is a partner in the public finance group of Faegre & Benson. In her twenty-year plus public finance career, Stefanie has acted as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, issuer’s counsel or borrower’s counsel in hundreds of governmental and private activity debt financings. Stefanie’s practice has focused on tax-exempt and taxable municipal offerings, including infrastructure financings for cities and counties, tax increment financing, utility and recreational facility revenue debt, housing revenue financings for both for-profit and non-profit developers, health care financings, and cultural and educational facilities. Stefanie has structured bond issues secured by a broad range of types of credit, including the full faith and credit of the municipal issuer, tax and other revenues, tax increment revenues, the credit of the non-public issuer or guarantor, direct and standby letters of credit, insurance policies, federal insurance programs and common bond fund pools.
