Stanley Schneider is responsible for all legal and business affairs for The Orchard. Since joining the company in 2004 he has been supervising the company's business dealings with its represented artists and record labels as well as with the company's myriad digital accounts worldwide. Mr. Schneider is one of the nation’s leading experts in the law and business of the music industry with 30 years experience specializing in music publishing recorded music internet and other new technology and intellectual property matters. Mr. Schneider spent 13 years at BMG first as a VP for BMG Music Publishing and then as SVP for BMG North America. Prior to BMG he was a partner with Schonwald Schaffzin & Mullman in New York. Mr. Schneider started his career in the entertainment business as a litigator with the law firm of Linden & Deutsch and then moved to CBS Records where he was General Attorney. He holds a BA degree cum laude from Brooklyn College and a JD degree from NYU Law School. |
