Stanley Lowe joined the National Trust staff in 2001 after serving eight years on the Board of Trustees and nine years on the Board of Advisors. From 1994 to 2001 he was executive director of the Housing Authority of Pittsburgh, Pa., and director of the Preservation Loan Fund of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation, winning numerous awards for his contributions to the revitalization of the city’s neighborhoods. In his current position he oversees Trust programs including Community Partners, the National Main Street Center and Preservation Development Initiatives which encourage and assist efforts to bring new economic vitality to historic residential and commercial neighborhoods. |
