Stanley Heshka, Ph.D. is Associate Research Scientist at the Institute of Human Nutrition of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a Research Associate of the Obesity Research Center at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Doctor Heshka is a leading obesity basic researcher, and has conducted extensive research into risk factors, mechanisms, and treatment of obesity. He has been involved in clinical studies for multiple anti-obesity products, and authored of numerous relevant publications and abstracts, as well as several textbook chapters. Dr. Heshka received his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1969, a M.Sc. London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London in 1970, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1973. |
