Mr. Hill joined the Intevac Board of Directors in March 2004. Mr. Hill is a retired chairman and chief executive officer of Kaiser Aerospace & Electronics Corporation and its parent K Systems Inc. Kaiser Aerospace is a major supplier of military cockpit avionics flight control actuators and electro-optical systems for a variety of military and commercial aircraft. During his nearly 30 years with Kaiser Aerospace Mr. Hill also held executive and management positions in several areas of Kaiser's aerospace operations including engineering electronics optical systems electro optics vision systems and flight dynamics.
Mr. Hill is currently a director of First Aviation Services Inc. a publicly owned company that manufactures and distributes aircraft parts and provides supply-chain management services to the aviation industry. Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine a Masters of Engineering Degree from the University of Connecticut and has completed postgraduate studies at the University of Santa Clara business school. |
