He served as a director of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company (electric generation and delivery, natural gas supply, transportation and delivery), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. from 1999 to February 2006 and as a director of MidAmerican Energy predecessor companies since 1987. Mr. Bright was Chairman and CEO of MidAmerican Energy Company, a Des Moines, Iowa-based electric and gas utility company which is now a part of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company from 1997 to 1999. He served as President, CEO & Chairman and CEO of predecessor Companies from 1991 to 1997. He is Chair of the Human Resources Committee of the Company ("HRC") and a member of the AEC. |
