Stanley Levine, a founding member of Campbell & Levine, concentrates his practice in the area of debtor and creditors' rights, with an emphasis on business bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts. In addition, Mr. Levine works extensively with high net worth individuals in the area of asset preservation planning, both with respect to existing businesses and prospective investment opportunities.
Mr. Levine has represented debtors, official committees, trustees, buyers and sellers of business entities, individuals and banks in cases from a wide variety of industries. Over the past five years, Mr. Levine has worked extensively on hospital insolvencies, both as debtor and creditors' committee counsel. He has, at the request of creditor groups, served as the Court appointed Chapter 11 Trustee for substantial entities in the trucking, steel and metals trading business.
Mr. Levine, a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, lectures frequently to continuing legal education programs on issues related to insolvency and bankruptcy.
Listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Levine graduated in 1971 from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance and Commerce with honors, and is a 1974 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Admitted to the Bar in 1976, Pennsylvania, Mr. Levine is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and for the Northern District of Ohio.
