In her 20 years of information technology and healthcare experience, she has managed the deployment of systems to support healthcare transaction processing, business intelligence and payer adjudication. She has consulted for numerous multi-national healthcare companies including United Healthcare, Siemens Medical System, Johnson & Johnson healthcare and GE. She has been an advisor for the EDI Coalition of New York and the Mass Health Data Consortium. Sita built the Med-Link clearinghouse system that started with 2 providers and grew to a 2 million-transaction hub in 3 years. The Clearinghouse provided Batch Claims, On-Line Claims, Claim Status/ERA, Eligibility and Referrals in 1995 to it clients. The clearinghouse solution provided connectivity to Hospitals, Physicians and Dentist to send transaction to other gateways, direct payer and print paper. Prior to IGI, she was the Chief Information Officer at Med-Link. Sita has a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers College, New Jersey and an MS in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey. |
