Simpson Fant's practice focuses on commercial transactions, commercial real estate and multi-family housing finance through HUD/FHA insurance programs. Mr. Fant represents owners, developers and lenders in a variety of transactions, including the sale, purchase, development and leasing of real estate, with financing through conventional loans, HUD/FHA insured loans, sale/leasebacks, synthetic leases, bond financing and other forms of secured financing.
While at the University of South Carolina, Mr. Fant was the student works editor of the South Carolina Law Review. Prior to attending law school, he was a municipal bond and government securities trader and a commercial loan officer with a leading South Carolina bank.
