Simon has been closely associated with the development of the Call Centre sector since the 1970's. In 1980, he was involved in the formation of the UK's very first telemarketing agency. After a period as Marketing Director of BT's Telephone Marketing Services business, he founded the L&R Group in 1989, known for its ground-breaking work with major corporations wishing to establish Call Centres.In 1997, Simon sold L&R (with Livingstone's assistance) to SITEL, the world's largest Contact Centre outsourcing company, heading up their European consulting operations. In 2000, he left SITEL to set up SRC, where he continues to operate at the most senior levels of the Contact Centre sector. Simon advises Livingstone on a broad spectrum of direct marketing and telemarketing issues. |
