Simon Marom joined Prospect Capital Corporation in October 2007 as the Vice President - Legal for Prospect Administration, the administrator for Prospect Capital Corporation. Mr. Marom’s prior experience includes securities, mergers and acquisitions, legal compliance and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Marom spent two years at Ingersoll-Rand Company, a large diversified industrial manufacturer, as their Assistant Counsel Corporate. At Ingersoll-Rand, Mr. Marom’s responsibilities included leading and managing mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, and corporate governance and he was involved in tax and investment restructurings and shareholder relations.
Prior to Ingersoll-Rand, Mr. Marom was a corporate associate at the law firms of Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Weinstein LLP (March 2004 - November 2005) and Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP (September 1999 -March 2004). During that time Mr. Marom represented public and private companies in private equity transactions, general corporate matters and stock and asset acquisitions. Mr. Marom was also involved in representing numerous banks as underwriters and placement agents in connection with public and private debt offerings, equity offerings and other debt financings.
Mr. Marom received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and holds a BS in Accounting from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. |
