Simon Cheng, Vice President, is a chartered financial analyst and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the Association of Investment Management and Research. Mr. Cheng has extensive experience in providing analysis and expert testimony for large clients in matters involving business valuation, complex derivatives and investment analysis, breach of contract, cost of capital analysis, securities litigation, and regulatory proceedings in the energy and telecommunication industries. He also conducted analysis to evaluate and quantify synergy benefits related to a multibillion-dollar merger, to determine the risks associated with an investment portfolio of a county government, and to evaluate the risks and losses suffered by a corporation due to unauthorized trading in foreign currency futures. Prior to its acquisition by CRA in 1999, Mr. Cheng was a principal at FinEcon Consulting. |
