Simon is an experienced technology executive and former investment banker with extensive Silicon Valley experience. He was also a two time Olympian and Commonwealth Champion for Australia in the early 1990’s as a pole vaulter.
Prior to Amazing, Simon spent over four years as a principal with leading boutique investment banking firm, Gramercy Venture Advisors, working on M&A and corporate finance transactions for early and mid stage IT companies.
His track record includes experience as CEO and senior executive for complex, solution-based enterprise software, services and mobility firms in the United States and Asia-Pacific. As VP - Internet Services for one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States in 1998, Simon co-founded, spun off and successfully funded Versifi Inc., which produced the World's first 100% java web content management solution that went on to win accolades as the "Most Visionary" product in its space by GartnerGroup. Proof of Simon's abilities to conceive, articulate and implement winning strategies was realized in 2001 when Versifi was sold to a firm in Belgium for close to $50 million.
He holds an MBA from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA, and a BA (Econ) from the University of New Mexico. |
