Simon practices in the firm's London office. He is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and is an associate in the corporate group, where he practices corporate and securities laws.
The main areas of his practice focus on capital markets and commercial transactions. Simon is particularly experienced in the initial and secondary placing of shares, with an emphasis on AIM market transactions. Simon has advised on a broad array of AIM-related transactions including reorganizations, reductions of share capital, reverse takeovers, Rule 144A offerings, IPOs and secondary placings. He advises nominated advisers and brokers as well as issuers. He has built a strong reputation for advising overseas corporates doing business in the UK and regularly acts for issuers listed on overseas stock exchanges; mainly in Australia, Canada and the USA.
Simon has also advised issuers in connection with their IPOs on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and the PLUS-quoted Market (formerly known as OFEX).

Advised Natsun Holdings Ltd (AIM: NTS), a Hong Kong incorporated holding company with interests in worsted fabric and garment production, on its £6.3 million Placing and Admission to AIM.
Advised NCB Stockbrokers as nominated adviser and joint broker and Insinger de Beaufort as joint broker to Globo plc in connection with its acquisition of Globo S.A., reverse takeover of PLUS-listed Israeli Acquisitor I, and £3.1 Million Placing and Admission to AIM.
Advised the selling shareholders of Snorkel Holdings LLC in connection with the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Snorkel by AIM-listed The Tanfield Group Plc for a total consideration price of US$100 million.
Acted for Dragon-Ukrainian Properties & Development plc (AIM: DUPD), a real estate investment company focused on Ukraine, in relation to its Placing of US$208 million and Admission to AIM.
Advised AIM-listed Titanium Resources Group Ltd. (AIM: TXR), a rutile and bauxite mining production company with operations in Sierra Leone, in connection with its private placement with institutional investors of US$35 million.
Advised Solomon Gold plc (AIM: SOLG), a copper and gold exploration company based in Solomon Islands, in connection with its £5 million Placing and Admission to AIM, and further secondary private placings totalling approximately £3.5 million.
Advised on the fast track Admission to AIM of ASX-listed exploration company, Union Resources Limited (AIM: URL), which is developing the world's largest undeveloped resource of zinc, lead and silver at the Mehdiabad Zinc Project in Iran.
Advised AIM-listed Eurovestech Plc (AIM: EVT), a pan-European development capital fund focused on high-technology enterprises, in connection with its private placement with institutional investors of £5 million.
