Simon has gained broad exposure recruiting senior investment professionals, Operating Partners and C-Level executives to portfolio companies of major private equity groups and hedge funds. Simon has been featured and quoted on human capital matters in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune magazine, MSN Money, the San Jose Mercury, Private Equity Manager, Private Equity International and the Financial Times. Simon has been profiled in Condé Nast Portfolio and appeared on CNBC’s Closing Bell to discuss CEO compensation. Previously, Simon spent 5 years with Heidrick & Struggles’ International Technology Practice, progressing from Associate to Principal. He was initially based in its London office and later transferred to the practice’s Menlo Park headquarters. A Lord Foley Scholar, Simon graduated with an Upper Second BA in law (with a social anthropology minor) from the London School of Economics. He completed the bar finals from Inns of Court School of Law, Grays Inn, London. Simon is an active supporter of PRBO Conservation Science, a non-profit dedicated to protecting the Farallon Islands. He is married and lives in downtown San Francisco. |
