Sid Mallory is the executive vice president for philanthropy. He leads the Office of Philanthropy as it develops an efficient and coordinated approach to philanthropy and development activities across Allina. Mallory has been president of the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation since 2002. Among his accomplishments in this role are: expanding the size of the Foundation board and volunteer base; dramatically increasing the number of new Foundation annual donors; raising $53 million to support the construction of a new heart hospital on the Abbott Northwestern campus; and implementing a new planned giving program, resulting in a $20 million planned gift in 2004. Prior to joining Allina, Mallory was vice president for development of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has also served as director of external affairs for the Dallas Opera and chief executive officer of the Austin Museum of Art. Mallory has bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Sam Houston State University. |
